Big Island Oyster Shuck with Williamsburg Winery

In celebration of Virginia Wine Month, we are pleased to host Big Island Aquaculture and Williamsburg Winery for an Oyster Shuck and Wine Pairing on Thursday, October 11 from 5-8pm.  

We will be joined by Matthew Meyer of Williamsburg Winery and Bruce Vogt of Big Island Aquaculture for an evening of tasting.  Williamsburg Winery is a consistent medal-winning producer in the heralded Virginia Governor’s Cup. Matthew designed the winery's Midsummer’s Night White specifically to complement the oysters from Big Island Aquaculture. Located between the York River and the Mobjack Bay, Big Island Oysters are recognized some of the best in the Chesapeake Bay - the perfect blend of salty, sweet, and buttery.

Big Island Oysters:  $1.50 each or $6.00 per half-dozen

Williamsburg Winery Sauvignon Blanc, Midsummer's Night Wine and Unoaked Chardonnay:  $6.00 per glass
