Lemaire Restaurant at The Jefferson Hotel is proud to partner with Sheltering Arms to provide guests with a fun and delicious way to support the hospital’s mission to provide comprehensive physical rehabilitation of the highest caliber with compassion and respect, to enhance the quality of life of those persons experiencing disabilities, and to offer financial assistance to those in need. Every Monday night in February five percent (5%) of your food purchase from Lemaire's dinner, bar or dessert menu will be donated to the Sheltering Arms Institute, a collaboration with VCU Health. This new 114-bed, state-of-the-art, rehab hospital opens in June just west of Short Pump.
Lemaire's Monday Night Out for Charity has raised over $100,000 for charities including The Faison Center, World Pediatric Project, Southern Foodways Alliance, Virginia Home, Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program, Tricycle Gardens, ALS Association, VCU Massey Cancer Center, FETCH a Cure, FeedMore and The Doorways.
The Jefferson Hotel will be celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2020. In celebration of this milestone anniversary, Lemaire will be partnering with organizations that have been serving the Richmond community for more than 100 years. St. Andrew’s School (1894), Sheltering Arms (1894), Maymont (1893), Children’s Home Society of Virginia (1900), Virginia Home for Boys and Girls (1846), Virginia Home (1894) and others will to be recognized in 2020 for their longevity and contributions.
Thank you to all our guests who have supported Lemaire Monday Night Out for Charity while enjoying a great meal in Lemaire!
