Lemaire Restaurant at The Jefferson Hotel is proud to partner with Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program to provide our guests with a fun and delicious way to support this incredible Richmond-based organization that provides local residents and businesses of Virginia with the opportunity to promote the protection and remediation of the Chesapeake Bay by becoming involved in the restoration of wild, native oysters. They are currently working in the lower Piankatank River with a goal of building 160 acres of reef. Every Monday night in August, five percent (5%) of your food purchase from Lemaire's dinner, bar or dessert menu will be donated to Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program.
Lemaire's Monday Night Out for Charity has raised over $100,000 for charities including The Faison Center, World Pediatric Project, Southern Foodways Alliance, Virginia Home, Feed More’s Central VA Food Bank, Tricycle Gardens, ALS Association, Susan G. Komen Central Virginia, FETCH a Cure and The Doorways. Thank you to all our guests who have made valuable contributions while enjoying a great meal in Lemaire!
Congratulations to Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program on their 5th anniversary this year. Lemaire is proud to be the first restaurant to join the program when it began in 2013.
